VTG International Sterling Silver ROYAL DANISH Large Waiter Service Tray. ROYAL DANISH pattern large waiter serving tray by American maker International.

The pattern, designed by Alfred G. Kintz, was introduced by International in 1939. The tray is made of STERLING SILVER (not silver plate). This listing is for the TRAY ONLY. SIZE: Marked size 21 1/2 M. Actual size tray area is about 21 3/4" x 16". Total length with the handles is approximately 26. VERY substantial tray they don't seem to make things of this quality anymore. MARKS: On base as shown in photos below.

Dates to the mid-1950s, I believe. Overall, in very good condition, with surface marks/scratches, mostly on the flat area, from normal use over the last 60-70 years.

The coffee/tea set (for sale in the other listing) sat on this tray for many years. No major dents, but I did spot a couple of tiny little blemishes under the photography lights. Tried to capture them (see photos below). I like the current patina, but that is a matter of taste.
