This is one 5-piece place setting of sterling cutlery in the Prelude pattern (1939) from International Silver. There are NO MONOGRAMS or engravings on these pieces. All of the pieces are in very good used condition with a few minor scuffs and marks from normal use.
Nothing is known of the history of these pieces of cutlery. All pieces have been inspected and given a good shine with a polishing cloth. The marks on the knife handles (last picture) are difficult to read, but they read sterling handle. One place setting weighs an estimated 170 grams and consists of. 1 New French hollow-handle dinner knife -- 9 1/8 inches, 25-30 grams (estimated) sterling handle.
1 dinner fork -- 7 1/4 inches, 50 grams. 1 individual salad fork -- 6 5/8 inches, 35 grams. 1 round bowl soup spoon -- 6 1/2 inches, 40 grams. 1 teaspoon -- 6 inches, 25 grams. There are multiple 5-piece place settings available for sale.
Most of the individual pieces are in very good used condition, but some are in EXCELLENT condition. Please see my other sterling listings (including Prelude) and check my excellent feedback.
