Set of 10 Sterling Silver Butter Knife Spreader Prelude International NO MONO

  

This is a SET of TEN (10) sterling silver butter knives and butter spreaders in the Prelude (1938) pattern from International Silver. There is one Hollow Handle Master Butter Knife 7 inches, 10 grams est. , there is one Flat Handle Master Butter Knife -- Crimped Handle (7 1/4 inches, 35 grams), and there are eight (8) Flat Handle Butter Spreaders (5 3/4 inches, 29 grams each). The entire lot has an estimated weight of 277 grams.

All of these butter knives and spreaders are in VERY GOOD Used Condition with only very minor marks of light use, and there are NO monograms or engravings. The one hollow handle knife is LIGHTLY marked on the handle (next to last picture), but it's difficult to read. All of the other pieces are clearly marked on the back. Nothing is known of the history of these pieces.
