Museum quality solid 925 Sterling Silver Tiffany & Co Exhibition Yacht fully hallmarked with London Import marks for 1977 and imported by the International Bullion & Metal Brokers. This is an exceptionally large scaled exquisitely made piece, it must have been for an exhibition, most likely something to do with Queen Elizbeths Silver Jubilee. There is also a sideways head which looks like a royal stamp and a little letter H. This piece has an American walnut base, the platform above is designed to resemble the waves, this is weighted inside and the whole piece I would estimate to be 50kgs plus.

The idea being if you wanted to actually use this on your Yacht its so heavy it wouldnt move, personally I see this on top of piano as I had it displayed or on a lovely military campaign sideboard. I cant emphasise enough how fine and well made this piece is, the detail is never ending yet it has clean elegant lines, there is so much movement and energy to it, the sails and all the rope have free play, the yacht is slightly off set to one side to give the sense of breaking through the waves. We have lightly cleaned it, there is very little to note around the condition, it has a nice period patina.
