Vintage Sterling Silver La Paglia Compote by designer Alphonse La Paglia for International Silver Company. La Paglia studied silversmithing with Georg Jensen in Denmark. In 1952 he started working with International Silver Company where he created modernist Danish inspired holloware and jewelry.

International Sterling La Paglia Designed 139 40. Maker: International Sterling (foil sticker still present). 5 across top of compote. Condition: In good vintage condition, with some spotting to the finish.

The base has a spot that is slightly out of round but the compote displays fine.
